If you would like to present your own register-related research in the gong show, do not forget to include the title of your presentation. The rules of the gong show are as follows: Each speaker is allotted 3 minutes (signalled by a sound signal) to present his/her research topic. The discussion happens during an extended coffee break in which comments by experts may be collected. The purpose of the gong show is to present a basic idea and some results in a condensed form, in order to open up a discussion and collect advice. We also want to get a quick overview of each other's current work.
Students and PhD students from universities in the CENTRAL network (i.e., ELTE Budapest, Charles University Prague, University of Warsaw, University of Vienna) can apply for a travel stipend, covering travel costs and accomodation. If you want to do so, please attach a 1-page letter of intent to your registration email, stating what you are working on and how the autumn school may foster your research.
